Why Your Brain Needs a Cooling Pill (and Perhaps a Nap) ๐ŸŒŸ Mental Health 101 ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ค

Hello, fellow professional stressors, midnight scrollers, and overthinkers!๐Ÿ‘‹

Let’s be honest, there are moments when life seems like one big to-do list:

โ˜• Drink coffee after waking up exhausted.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Go through Instagram.

 ๐Ÿ’ผ Work-related stress.

๐Ÿ• Cooking is difficult, so order pizza.

๐Ÿ™๏ธ Lastly, while you’re lying in bed, worry about everything.

Outcome? “Excuse me, can I log off now?” is what your mind asks.

Here’s why mental health is important and how to keep your brain bright so it doesn’t short circuit. ๐ŸŽ‰

Your Brain Needs Charging, Just Like a Smartphone!

1. Your Brain Needs Charging, Just Like a Smartphone! ๐Ÿ”‹

You wouldn’t allow your phone’s battery to run down to 1%, would you? The “low battery” is something we allow to happen constantly.

When you’re worn out, nervous, or under stress:

  1. How productive are you? Go, pfft.
  2. How are you feeling? The birds’ chirping has me furious. ๐Ÿฆ
  3. How do you make decisions? Let’s assume it takes an hour to choose dinner. ย  ย  ๐Ÿ” vs. ๐Ÿฃ Fix?

๐ŸŽฏ Take short pauses by taking a nap, practicing meditation, or just staring at a wall.

Ideas might include:

  1. “What if I embarrass myself tomorrow?”
  2. “Did I leave the stove on 5 hours ago?”
  3. “Why did I say ‘You too’ when the waiter said ‘Enjoy your meal’?”

A plot twist Ninety percent of these ideas are superfluous. Your brain’s favorite pastime is making up stories.

โœ… Get it! Say something like, “I’ll worry about this tomorrow at 4 PM,” or write your thoughts down in a journal

๐Ÿ“–. Yes, plan your overanalyzing. It’s like magic!

Gym for Mental Health? It is real! For your thoughts.

3. Gym for Mental Health? It is real! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ For your thoughts.

To get biceps, you lift weights, correct? (Or as an excuse to get protein shakes ๐Ÿถ).

In a similar vein, train your brain to maintain good mental health!

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Spend five minutes in meditation. (No, humming “Om” aloud is not necessary.)

Read books. Allow your thoughts to drift away from reality.

๐Ÿšถ Take a stroll without your phone. Trees are a free kind of treatment. ๐ŸŒณ

Have you ever noticed this exchange?

“I worked 12 hours today!”

“Oh? I had five cups of coffee and slept for two hours.

This isn’t a flex, buddy. ๐Ÿšฉ

It’s also productive to rest. ๐Ÿ›Œ Get seven to eight hours of sleep, take naps, and don’t feel bad about occasionally binge-watching Netflix. Your brain is as fond of relaxation as you are of Friday pizza. ๐Ÿ•

Be in the company of individuals who:

โœ”๏ธ Make fun of your poor jokes ๐Ÿ˜‚

โœ”๏ธ Don’t be critical of your sweatpants collection ๐Ÿฉณ

โœ”๏ธ Remind you that mental health is important.

It’s called balance, people. Eat well ๐Ÿฒ (carbs = happiness), play games ๐ŸŽฎ, and spend time doing nothing.

๐ŸŽฏ Last Word? Mental health is a necessity, not a luxury!

๐Ÿ’ฌ Keep in mind that you only have one brain, so take care of it. ๐Ÿคฃ Laugh a lot. (It is less expensive than therapy.)

๐Ÿ˜ด Get adequate sleep. Rest will make your worries appear smaller, but they won’t go away on their own.

When in doubt, simply take a deep breath. Breathe in… Breathe out… You see? You’re doing beautifully already. ๐Ÿ’–
